Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions aim to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and members, and other necessary matters related to the use of the event group and event sharing service (hereinafter referred to as “Service”) provided by SSausage (hereinafter referred to as “Company”).

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows:

  1. “Service” refers to a platform service that allows members to create event groups and events to publish to other members and to bookmark and manage published events as menus.
  2. “Member” refers to a person who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, enters into a use agreement with the Company, and uses the Service.
  3. “ID” refers to a combination of letters and numbers set by the member and approved by the Company for member identification and service use.
  4. “Password” refers to a combination of letters or numbers set by the member to confirm that they are a member matching the assigned ID and to protect confidentiality.
  5. “Event” refers to content created by members including event description, event time, media materials (images, videos, etc.), and location information (geographic information).
  6. “Event Group” refers to a unit for managing events created by members in bundles.
  7. “Bookmark” refers to the function of saving events of interest to members.
  8. “User Menu” refers to a list organized by members to view bookmarked events together.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall become effective for all members who wish to use the Service.
  2. The contents of these Terms and Conditions shall be posted on the Service screen or notified to members by other methods, and shall become effective when members agree to them.
  3. The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions if deemed necessary, and the amended Terms and Conditions shall be announced at least 7 days prior to the effective date. However, in the case of amendments to the Terms and Conditions that are unfavorable to members, they shall be announced at least 30 days in advance, and if members do not agree to the amended Terms and Conditions, they may discontinue service use and withdraw.
  4. If a member continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms and Conditions, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the amendments.

Article 4 (Regulations Other Than Terms and Conditions)

Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other relevant laws or commercial practices.

Article 5 (Establishment of Use Agreement)

  1. A use agreement is established when a person wishing to become a member (hereinafter referred to as “registration applicant”) agrees to the contents of these Terms and Conditions, applies for membership registration, and the Company approves such application.
  2. The Company shall, in principle, approve the application for service use by registration applicants. However, the Company may not approve or may subsequently terminate the use agreement for applications falling under any of the following:
    • When the registration applicant has previously lost membership qualifications under these Terms and Conditions (except when the Company’s approval for re-registration has been obtained)
    • When using another person’s name
    • When false information is entered or the content presented by the Company is not entered
    • When a child under 14 years of age has not obtained the consent of a legal guardian
    • When approval is impossible due to the user’s fault or when applying in violation of other prescribed matters

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. A person who wishes to register as a member and use the Service must provide all information requested by the Company (ID, password, username (nickname), email, date of birth).
  2. Membership registration is established at the time when the registration applicant agrees to these Terms and Conditions and then records the items required in the membership registration application form and completes the registration.
  3. If there is a change in the items registered at the time of membership registration, the member must immediately notify the Company of the change by email or other methods.
  4. This Service may only be used by persons aged 14 or older, and if a child under 14 years of age attempts to register for membership, they must obtain the consent of their legal guardian.

Article 7 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualifications)

  1. Members may request withdrawal from the Company at any time, and the Company shall immediately process the membership withdrawal.
  2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the Company may restrict or suspend membership qualifications:
    • Registering false content when applying for registration
    • Interfering with other people’s service use or stealing such information, thereby threatening electronic commerce order
    • Conducting acts prohibited by laws or these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public order and morals using the Service
  3. If the same act is repeated two or more times after the Company restricts or suspends membership qualifications, or if the reason is not corrected within 30 days, the Company may terminate membership qualifications.

Article 8 (Notice to Members)

  1. When the Company gives notice to members, it may be sent to the email address previously agreed upon and designated with the member.
  2. In the case of notice to an unspecified number of members, the Company may substitute individual notice by posting on the Service notice board.

Article 9 (Provision and Change of Service)

  1. The Company provides the following services to members:
    • Event group and event creation function
    • Function to publish created events to other members
    • Event bookmark function
    • User Menu composition function with bookmarked events
    • Event search and inquiry function
    • Other services determined by the Company
  2. When the Company changes the contents of the Service, it shall post the reason for the change, the contents of the Service to be changed, and the date of provision on the Service initial screen at least 7 days prior to the change.
  3. The Company may modify, suspend, or change some or all of the free services according to the Company’s policies and operational needs, and shall not compensate members separately unless there are special provisions in relevant laws.

Article 10 (Suspension of Service)

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the event of reasons such as maintenance, replacement, and breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, or interruption of communication.
  2. The Company shall compensate for damages suffered by members or third parties due to the temporary suspension of the provision of the Service for the reasons in Paragraph 1. However, this shall not apply when the Company proves that there was no intention or negligence.
  3. In the event that the Service cannot be provided due to reasons such as business conversion, abandonment of business, or integration between companies, the Company shall notify members by the method prescribed in Article 8 and compensate consumers according to the conditions originally presented by the Company.

Article 11 (Member’s Obligation to Manage ID and Password)

  1. The responsibility for managing the ID and password lies with the member.
  2. Members shall not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
  3. If a member recognizes that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify the Company and follow the Company’s guidance if provided.

Article 12 (Obligations of Members)

  1. Members shall not engage in the following acts:
    • Registering false content when applying or making changes
    • Stealing other people’s information
    • Changing information posted by the Company
    • Transmitting or posting information other than information determined by the Company (such as computer programs)
    • Infringing on the intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company and other third parties
    • Acts that damage the reputation of the Company and other third parties or interfere with their business
    • Publishing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service
    • Posting content that may cause discomfort or threat to others
    • Acts objectively determined to be related to crimes
    • Other acts that violate relevant laws
  2. Members shall comply with relevant laws, provisions of these Terms and Conditions, usage guides and precautions announced in relation to the Service, matters notified by the Company, etc., and shall not engage in acts that interfere with the Company’s business.

Article 13 (Management of Posts)

  1. The member is responsible for the content of posts, including events, posted by the member within the Service.
  2. The Company may delete without prior notice if the content posted or transmitted by members within the Service falls under any of the following, and the Company shall not be liable for this:
    • Content that defames or slanders the Company, other members, or third parties
    • Distributing information, text, graphics, etc. of content that violates public order and morals
    • Content recognized as being related to criminal acts
    • Content that infringes on the Company’s copyright, third parties’ copyrights, or other rights
    • When a member posts pornography on their service screen or website or links to pornographic sites
    • When otherwise determined to violate relevant laws
  3. The Company may separately establish and implement detailed usage guidelines related to posts, and members shall register or delete various posts according to those guidelines.
  4. When there is a report from a party claiming rights infringement or a request from relevant authorities, the Company may take temporary measures (suspension of posting, deletion, etc.) regarding the post in question, and shall implement appropriate measures in accordance with relevant laws.

Article 14 (Event Content)

  1. When creating events through the Service, members may include event description, event time, media materials (images, videos), and location information (geographic information).
  2. Members can set the publicity scope of event groups, and events belonging to public event groups are disclosed to other members.
  3. When making an event group public, all information of events belonging to that group (event description, time, media materials, location information, etc.) is displayed to other members.
  4. Members must create event content that does not infringe on the rights of others and must comply with relevant laws such as copyright, portrait rights, and personal information protection.
  5. When a member includes location information in an event, they are deemed to have recognized and agreed that such information may be disclosed to other members according to the publicity settings of the event group.

Article 14-2 (Map and Location Information)

  1. Reference Date of Map Data

    • The maps provided in the Service use the latest map data as of 2025.
    • Even when displaying events from past or future time periods, the event information is displayed on maps based on the current year (2025).
    • Therefore, for historical events, there may be differences from the actual terrain, administrative districts, and facilities of that time, and for future events, planned developments or changes may not be reflected.
  2. Accuracy of Map Information

    • The Company strives to provide accurate map information, but does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currentness of the map data.
    • Users should use map information for reference purposes only, and should go through separate verification procedures for important decision-making or actual movement.

Article 15 (Bookmark and User Menu Functions)

  1. Members can bookmark and save events published by other members.
  2. Members can organize and manage bookmarked events as user menus.
  3. The bookmark function is accessible only to the member and is not disclosed to others.
  4. User menus can be shared with other members through links, and members accessing through shared links will only see events belonging to public event groups among the events included in that menu.

Article 16 (Attribution and Restrictions on Use of Copyrights)

  1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.
  2. Members shall not use for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use information among information obtained through the use of the Service for which intellectual property rights belong to the Company by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the Company’s prior consent.
  3. Copyrights of posts posted by members within the Service belong to the author of the posts.
  4. Members cannot commercially use materials posted on the Service, such as arbitrarily processing or selling information acquired through the use of the Service.

Article 17 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company shall be exempted from liability for service provision if unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
  2. The Company shall not be liable for service use failures due to the member’s fault.
  3. The Company shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of information, materials, and facts posted by members in relation to the Service.
  4. The Company shall be exempted from liability when members conduct transactions, etc. between members or between members and third parties through the Service.
  5. The Company shall not be liable in relation to the use of free services unless there are special provisions in relevant laws.
  6. The Company, as a platform provider, only provides a technical environment for sharing events among members, and does not bear any obligation to review or monitor the content created by members in advance.

Article 18 (Damages)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages to matters that do not fall under the contents prescribed in the Personal Information Protection Policy in relation to the use of free services provided by the Service.

Article 19 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The Company shall give priority to processing complaints and opinions submitted by members. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the Company shall immediately notify the member of the reason and processing schedule.
  2. If there is a member’s application for damage relief in relation to e-commerce disputes between the Company and members, the Company may follow the mediation of the dispute mediation organization commissioned by the Fair Trade Commission or the mayor/provincial governor.

Article 20 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to disputes arising from service use between the Company and members.
  2. Lawsuits regarding disputes arising from service use shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These Terms and Conditions shall be effective from October 20, 2025.
